Building Effectiveness Across Boundaries

Workshops We Offer

Many of us know that when we are committed to a goal, it will happen. At the point of being committed issues get clearer.  The obstacles and roadblocks to achieving the goal crystallize. The difficulty however is getting committed.  There is a monumental difference between thinking I should be committed, wishing I was committed and actually being committed.   ACHIEVING COMMITMENT will directly address creating, and maintaining commitment in yourself and others over time and through roadblocks.  Join us for this deep exploration into the psychology and practical application of commitment in our daily lives.

COURSE RESULTS

· CLEARING THE CLUTTER/TELLING THE TRUTH

Ş In our current over committed lives we try to live in a mass of broken promises.  Whether it is those made to us, the ones we make to others or the more subtle ones we make to ourselves. Learn how to complete these broken commitments so we can trust others and ourselves again.

Ş Work directly on separating what you are committed to versus what the world wants you to be committed to.  These exercises will assist you in getting rid of false commitments that dilute or divert you from what really matters.

·  REVEALING COMMITMENT IN OTHERS

Ş We are frequently responsible for generating commitment in others.  It is lunacy to expect others to be committed to what we believe is important, when we don't even know what they are committed to.  Learn how to reveal and support other's commitments to take relationships and effectiveness to another plane.

·  MAINTAINING COMMITMENT IN THE REAL WORLD

Ş In the real world we are bombarded by distractions, obstacles, colliding commitments that constantly derail us from what we say we are committed to.  Being committed once is almost never enough.  You must have the skill to recreate, reenergize, and revive your commitments when you have lost touch with what you say is most important in your life.  This is especially true with organizational commitments.

This is an advanced course.  Previous completion of Productive Relationships©, Managing Corporate Change©, or Women Moving Forward® is recommended.
